Real Madrid's Casemiro is expected to be unveiled as a new Manchester United player in the coming days Real Madrid and Manchester United have agreed on a deal for the Brazilian midfielder Casemiro Xavi believes that Real Madrid lost an important player when they agreed to sell Casemiro to Manchester United.
The Barca boss recently commented on the transfer, calling Casemiro a key player for Los Blancos over the years, Tribuna reported.
There is no doubt that it will be a very important loss for Madrid,” Xavi said.
He added that Casemiro was a big part of a successful era for Madrid over the years but added that he didn’t know what went wrong that eventually led to the midfielder leaving the club. He continued that he couldn’t comment too much on the issue as Barcelona had their own sets of issues to deal with. Barcelona are yet to register all of their new signings, with defender Jules Koundé still unable to play for the club. Barca must sell some of their other players to register Koundé. The defender is set to miss out on Barca’s second game of the season against Real Sociedad.
Madrid, on the other hand, leads the way in La Liga after two games. Los Blancos beat Celta Vigo 4-1 in their second game of the season, their first game without Casemiro as a part of the team. Casemiro has agreed on personal terms with United and is expected to be officially unveiled by the club in the coming days.
