Pochettino Sends Warning to Chelsea Flops Including Mykhailo Mudryk

Mauricio Pochettino has urged Chelsea flops to step up their game beginning next season

The Argentine will be in charge of the Blues from next term after he landed the role in June.

His arrival coincided with the club's disastrous campaign last season that saw them finish 12th in the EPL.

Mauricio Pochettino has fired a warning to Chelsea flops as he prepares to kick off his Stamford Bridge reign.

The Argentine was named the Blues' permanent boss back in June, replacing Graham Potter, who had been sacked in February.

Pochettino has his work cut out at the west London, with leading the club back to the Champions League among the key priorities.

The Premier League giants endured a disastrous run last season under three different managers as they failed to secure European football.

According to Goal, the 2021 Champions League winners registered their lowest-ever points total in the division, racking up a paltry 44 points.

Pochettino has now moved to assemble his charges in preparation for next season, with the Argentine keen to steer the club back to the top.

The former Tottenham Hotspur boss has sent Chelsea flops, including Mykhailo Mudryk, a fiery warning, insisting they would need to step up.

"Now is a new start, a fresh start and they need to show their real quality. But we need to create this platform for them to feel comfortable and to create the space for them to perform and improve," Pochettino said per The Mirror.
“These players were arriving in difficult circumstances to join this football club and it’s a great challenge for us because we love to work in this way. But of course, we need to give them the opportunity to show they are able to cope with the pressure to play for Chelsea and perform with the best," he added.
