PL Predictions: Liverpool to secure first win, derby victory for Arsenal.

After getting just two of his predictions correct last week, our writer Enock Sakyi has made some big calls ahead of this weekend's English premier league matches.

SOUTHAMPTON vs MANCHESTER UNITED.

A perfect lunch! Both teams are coming into this game on the back of much needed wins. Great character from Southampton to come back from a goal down to win Leicester City at the King's Power. I will repeat what I said last week about Leicester, they need to get a new and better goalkeeper as soon as possible. They are conceding alot. Brilliant performance from Manchester United against Liverpool on Monday. That's what the fans want to see. Fight, determination, passion and resilience. It's a huge step forward and a pressure lifting victory. They need to improve and they will. If they stay consistent, they will have a great season.

Southampton 0-3 Manchester United

BRENTFORD vs EVERTON

I said Brentford were going to lose to Fulham but they will make it uncomfortable for Fulham and they did. They are a good side. At home, they are one of the most difficult teams to play. The run they have had makes them favorites here. Everton are in real trouble already. Looks like the only player who can make it happen for them is Gray. I know injuries are affecting them but the way they set is appalling. Lampard is clueless at the moment.

Brentford 3-1 Everton

BRIGHTON vs LEEDS UNITED

Game of the week for me. Two teams who are having an exciting time. Brighton are just an amazing team. They play good football, defend so well and are tactically disciplined. They don't give you too many chances against them. Their performance at West Ham is message to anyone coming up against them this season. They won't be a walkover. I praised Leeds United last week. They have been a difficult team to beat since Jesse March took over. To outclass Chelsea and beat them flawlessly like that tells alot about how impressive they are. High scoring game.

Brighton 2-2 Leeds United

CHELSEA vs LEICESTER CITY

That was a humbling defeat for Chelsea against Leeds. They were just not up for it. No fight. More of such performance won't get them anywhere near top 4. They need a striker's performance. I can't believe a team this bad at taking chances snubbed Cristiano Ronaldo. They are not there yet. Leicester are facing it. There's an abysmal season awaiting them if nothing changes. They keep throwing away leads on a silver platter. I have always said Danny Ward as their goalkeeper won't win them points. The goals he keeps conceding are questionable. Not too sure about Chelsea but at home,I will give them a chance.

Chelsea 3-2 Leicester

LIVERPOOL vs BOURNEMOUTH

Dried pitch, witches visiting them at training, too many injuries; these are the excuses Klopp has given for Liverpool's poor start and it's frustrating because that is not Klopp. Klopp always gets the job done. He seems confused and lost because he didn't think it will be such a horrible start for Liverpool. They are falling too far behind already and look out of sort. Bournemouth's return to the league hasn't been too welcoming. Manchester City,Arsenal and Liverpool in consecutive weeks is difficult. For me,they need to start looking ahead of these fixtures and start to pick points from teams around them. These matches are not favorable to them.

Liverpool 4-0 Bournemouth

MANCHESTER CITY vs CRYSTAL PALACE

I wasn't surprised when City dropped points at Newcastle. Newcastle have being on the rise since that takeover. However,i was impressed about how City fought back and got a point from the game. That's what you do when you are everyone's favorite to win the title, grind out results! This is the premier league, every point matters. Palace are an exciting team under Veira. On their day, they can match everyone. Ever since Veira took charge, most of their good performances have been at home. They are not so good on the road. In recent seasons, they have sometimes caused havoc to Manchester City,i will be surprised if it happens again though.

Manchester City 5-0 Crystal Palace.

ARSENAL vs FULHAM

An exciting London derby to complete Saturday's fixtures. Arsenal are the most complete team in the league right now. They look assured on the ball and are so confident. My worry is that they have strengthened their first eleven and not their bench. The quality in their team is just the eleven they put on the pitch to start. They look okay for now but as i said last week, I still don't trust them that's why I haven't included them in my top four yet. Fulham have had a brilliant start. They are unbeaten. That's better than the past two times they have been in the league. They grind out results and when they lack ideas, they use Mitrovic as their weapon. They need him to stay fit.

Arsenal 2-2 Fulham

ASTON VILLA vs WEST HAM.

This is a huge game for both sides. Both are in need of points. I think Villa are playing some good football but they are just not taking their chances. They've got some talents in their squad and they will win matches to stay up. They lack consistency. I feel sometimes, their determination to win matches is not up there. This could be West Ham's most important game of the season. They are the only team yet to pick up a point. If they fail to win here,it puts them into trouble and a relegation scrap. They have signed some players who have played and won at the top level so i expect them to help with the experience they have.

Aston Villa 2-3 West Ham

WOLVES vs NEWCASTLE

Wolves are not getting the results. That is because on the pitch, they look disjointed. There's no cohesion. They play too many faulty passes and commit silly fouls around. I'm not underestimating them because they are a talented team but they are taking too long to get going. Newcastle are on the rise. Their performance against Manchester City shows what a team they are now. They are energetic and don't give up. They play with high intensity and create chances which they take. They keep getting better and better. I know they will lose games and drop points but at the moment, they look unbeatable.

Wolves 1-3 Newcastle

NOTT'M vs TOTTENHAM

This is Nottingham's second home game of the season. When they played at home against West Ham,they were superb. Last week at Everton, they did well to get a point with a very good tactical display. My worry is they have added too many players. They have signed sixteen players and that might affect the cohesion of the team but if it doesn't,they will have a good season. Tottenham are not at their best yet but they get results. That's what matters. When you are not performing at your very best, find a way to get results. They are accelerating gradually. At the moment they are a bit sloppy. A very difficult game but I think Tottenham will get the job done. Will be tough though.

Nott'm Forest 1-3 Tottenham
