The final games of the WNBA regular season came off on Sunday 14th August 2022. As two(2) more spots for play-offs were up for grabs with Chicago Sky,
Las Vegas Aces, Connecticat Sun, Seattle Sun, Washington Mystics and Dallas Wings already booking their spots in the play-offs. It was left with Minnesota Lynx, Phoenix Mercury, Atlanta Dream and New York Liberty to battle for the last 2 spots.
The night saw Phoenix Mercury clinched the first out of the two spots as a results of Minnesota Lynx losing to Connecticat Sun in an earlier kick-off.
New York Liberty also beat Atlanta Dream(87:83) to clinch the final play-offs spot.
