Didier Drogba Denies Reports of Him Converting to Islam.

Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has turned his back at reports that he has converted to Islam.


The Ivorian football legend revealed that he only paid respect to his Muslim brothers when he visited his village.


Drogba was a big striker during his active playing days winning the Premier League titles with Chelsea.


Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has finally cleared the air on reports going round that he has converted to Islam from Christianity with the Ivorian claiming that he has not.


There have been reports that the 44-year-old converted while paying a visit to some Islamic scholars in his community in Ivory Coast.


In fact, photos were posted on social media where Drogba were seen praying with his hand in an Islamic way.


Since the reports came out, there have been mixed reactions on social media before the Ivorian came out to deny changing religion.


According to the information Drogba provided on his Twitter page, he confirmed that he has not converted to Islam.
